I listened very carefully to that style and several other funk/R&B/dance type styles on the Audya. I found them pleasant, with pronounced drums, but somewhat repetitive (using occasional horn stabs to break the monotony). What makes it sound as good as it does is the good RH parts of the players. If I'm being honest, not many on this board have the timing chops to make this kind of style work for them (even if they knew what to play on top of it). If you're a strong player with a good feel for 'funk', you'll be able to do some pretty nice tracks with this, if not, stick to Yamaha; it does much more of the work for you (even if everyone can tell it's the machine and not you). I'm not bashing either machine but for this type of music, I'd pick the Audya. Of course, I'd pick the Korg over both. I think this is more of a demonstration of what the machine CAN do. JMO.
